the interview

Deciding what to wear to the interview was hard. Ididn't want to set a false impression by wearing a dress or something. I am a jeans girl and that was not going to change, so I went with jeans but I wore a kinda nice shirt, not a T saying"don't make me have to call the flying moneys". Ron wore a tie. The  interview was at a small rural church and I knew Ron really wanted this so I was on my best behavior. I began to relax when one of the ladies on the interviewing committee asked Ron what he thought of old people. He looked serious and replied, "I love them. They taste good with salt." It got better from there.  They decided they liked him and he liked them but the best part for me was after the interview one of the ladies, I later learned was Barb Knight, told me not to think I had to do or act in any special way but  to just be myself. Word of wisdom. Ron was now a part time local pastor in the Methodist church and i was now a PW.
